
Kwankaew Ruangtrakool, a Thai conductor and soprano currently pursuing an MA in Choral Conducting at the Royal Academy of Music, is driven by her ambition to inspire others and raise social awareness through music. She serves as the Associate Choral Leader at St. Martin-in-the-Fields, the Associate Conductor of the Covent Garden Chorus, and is a Fellow of the National Youth Choir for the 2025-26 season. Her experience includes guest conducting the London Lawyers’ Chorus and directing the Manchester University Chamber Choir Ad Solem, the University Symphony Orchestra, and Somnium Chamber Choir. Beyond conducting, she was recently selected to join the World Youth Choir 2025 in Catalonia, Spain and France. She has also sung with EuroChoir 2022 in Switzerland, performed leading roles in opera productions with Bangkok Youth Opera and the University of Manchester, and led a number of voice workshops in Thailand.
