Choral Scholar 2024/2025

HCS will support one choral scholar during the 2024/2025 season. The choral scholar’s role is to support their relevant voice part and the MD during rehearsals and occasionally take step-out solos during performances.

Zoe Nendick

Born in Cambridge and raised in Hertfordshire, Zoe was a Choral Scholar at St Francis of Assisi, Welwyn Garden City, and later at All Saints’ Church, Hertford. Whilst in Nottingham, Zoe was a Choral Scholar at St Mary’s Church, and sang in several other choirs at the university, as well as in the National Youth Choir and Chamber Choir. She also studied choral and orchestral conducting and conducted several choirs, including the music society chamber choir.

Zoe now works full time at London Youth Choirs as the Operations & Communications Executive, and is a freelance soprano in church choirs around London. She is also a member of Hertford Chamber Choir (for which she runs the marketing & publicity) and of the newly-formed choir Symbel.
